Kimberly McLaughlin

Founder

Kim McLaughlin combines decades of experience in luxury residential construction, commercial flooring, and natural stone surfaces. As Founder and Owner of Remedy Surface Care, she is passionate about helping clients protect, restore, and preserve the beauty of their stone and tile investments. Her commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail have become hallmarks of the Remedy Surface Care experience.

Her career began in the luxury residential market, where she has held a Florida Real Estate License since 1986 and worked extensively with high-end custom homes. Through years of involvement in residential construction and real estate, Kim developed a deep appreciation for the beauty, value, and complexity of natural stone surfaces.

Later, as a partner in a commercial flooring company specializing in large-scale retail projects, she gained valuable insight into flooring materials, installation methods, maintenance requirements, and the long-term care of stone and tile surfaces. It was during this time that her interest in stone restoration and proper surface care evolved into a true professional passion.

As Kim worked with property owners over the years, she noticed a recurring problem: many homeowners were replacing natural stone surfaces that could have been professionally restored. Seeing the unnecessary expense and waste associated with replacement inspired her to focus on restoration and preservation instead. She founded Remedy Surface Care to help homeowners and businesses extend the life of their stone and tile surfaces while protecting the beauty and value of their investments.

Today, Kim leads Remedy Surface Care with a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship, honest recommendations, and lasting results. She believes that properly maintained stone should be preserved whenever possible, allowing clients to enjoy the character and elegance of their surfaces for years to come.

When she is not working with clients or overseeing restoration projects, Kim enjoys her lifelong passion for horses. An accomplished equestrian, she owns five Paint Horses and actively competes in national shows throughout the country.
